Imorse gick jag med trötta steg in i en byggnad som ligger på regementsområdet i Ystad. Jag skrev kunskapsprovet inför körkortet, fick godkänt. Så nu har jag bara uppkörningen kvar. Skönt ju, tänker jag, fastän jag överhuvudtaget inte är speciellt exalterad över det hela. Skönt att det snart är över. Det finns ju så många adnra saker som man vill lägga tiden på.
Ikväll har vi firat med kantarellsoppa, plättar och choklad. Nu ska jag gå och smörja in mina skor med skokräm, som man så bör. De är egentligen inte grå, utan starkt blå, men det grå blev vackrare i sammanhanget tycker jag.

I'm not very excited about the whole thing though, and I'm looking forward to the day when it's over. There are just so many other things in life I like more.
Tonight we celebrated it with mushroom soup, pancakes and chocolate. Now I'm going to rub in my shoes with shoe polish. But, they actually aren't grey, they are blue.)
